That day, feeling lonely, I decided to go for a walk. Along the way, I found a leaf that reminded me of my own loneliness between the worlds of Cameroon and Germany. It lay there, perfectly situated between the modern urban flair of the concrete floor and the natural beauty of the shadows. This image immediately captivated me, and I knew I had to photograph it, right there in the moment it lay there. It combines urban flair and natural beauty and is the perfect representation of these two worlds that live within me.
